Today, March 22nd, is the World Water Day. A recurring event instituted to sensitise people on this essential resource for the planet.
The waste of drinking water is considerable and worrying. Think that the 50% of the domestic water could be replaced by the rainwater.
It’s sufficient to collect it in a tank, preferably underground to avoid evaporation, and to connect it to a pump to irrigate the garden, wash the car, for the housecleaning or WC flush. Even in production plants, rainwater can be used instead of drinking water for cooling processes or fire fighting system. But if the domestic advantages are considerable, the social ones are even more evident.
The system of underground tanks with Atlantis System allows to contain over 2.000 liters of rainwater per square meter. It could be used under a terrain intended for any use: park, street, factory, apartment building, etc.
There are a lot of advantages both for the public and for the private.
